ToGathr is a web platform that helps individuals and event planners plan personal or professional events, with an AI assistant to generate tasks, track budgets, find vendors/venues, manage RSVPs, and collaborate with a team—all in one place.
The IRCTC app, used by millions in India for booking train tickets, was redesigned out of my own interest to enhance the booking experience.My redesign focus was on key screens like Login, Search Train, and My Booking for a smoother, more user-friendly interface.
A mobile app design that collects real-time pricing from online and offline retailers, including in shipping, taxes, and discounts, to help users compare and shop confidently.

I am pursuing the PDD in Web and Mobile App Design and Development [Design Stream] at Langara, where I am learning UI/UX design, responsive web development, and mobile app prototyping using industry-standard tools and methods.

I completed my entire schooling, from preschool to higher secondary, at Sri Sankara Vidyalaya, Chennai, India. The school provided a strong academic foundation while nurturing my overall growth through values-based education and holistic learning experiences.
I designed my own zine, incorporating visual storytelling with a blend of photos, captions, and text.
I redesigned a logo, using typography and custom illustrations to enhance its visual appeal.
As part of an assignment for my Typography class, I had the opportunity to
redesign
a poorly designed logo. This task allowed me to dive deep into the meaning,
voice,
and subject matter of the company behind the logo. The objective was clear:
transform the logo while keeping it simple, impactful, and aligned with the
brand's
essence.
I explored creative decisions, such as selecting an appropriate typeface that
resonated with the brand's identity and creating custom illustrations to
complement
the design. Additionally, I worked with a strict set of guidelines, which
included
redesigning the company name without adding extraneous information like phone
numbers and placing the logo on a clean, white background for maximum focus and
clarity.
This project was an exciting challenge and highlighted my ability to refine
visual
communication through typography and design.

I used a gradient brown color palette and an elegant cup with a heart to represent the cozy and inviting atmosphere of Cafe FortyOne. I thought the coffee seeds and the Pacifico typeface can highlight the quality and style.
Tea has always been a source of refreshment and happiness for many people, especially in Indian culture where it's traditionally served in a glass cup. I chose an Arabic-style typeface to reflect the origins of masala chai, and the word “Chai” is from Urdu or Hindi which I found through some small research.
Hummingbird Renovations signifies the act of restoring buildings to good condition, focusing on both interior and exterior renovations. I incorporated a building and a hummingbird in the logo to represent this, and used the Afterglow typeface for its elegant and modern look.
To indicate that it's a unisex salon, I designed illustrations of both male and female figures with stylish hair. I used a golden gradient on the Berkshire Swash Regular typeface to give a royal and posh look, with the descender of the letter "n" resembling the end of a strand of hair.
A Motion Graphics Adventure with After Effects.
For my Typography movie assignment, I had the opportunity to explore the world
of
motion graphics using Adobe After Effects. I worked on creating a dynamic video
that
incorporated typography and visual storytelling, enhancing the overall narrative
with smooth transitions and engaging animations.
This project allowed me to dive deeper into the creative process, experimenting
with
various effects, keyframes, and typography styles to convey a message through
motion. It was a fun and rewarding experience, as I got to apply my knowledge of
design principles while expanding my skills in animation.
The project not only reinforced my understanding of typography but also gave me
hands-on experience in the world of animation, allowing me to blend both design
and
motion seamlessly. The process of creating this video was incredibly fun and
full of
learning, and I look forward to exploring even more in future projects.

A Motion Graphics Adventure with After Effects.
Throughout my journey in web and mobile app designing, I had the opportunity to create several illustrations and icons that became integral parts of my projects. I thoroughly enjoyed the creative process involved in designing these visual elements. Each illustration and icon not only enhanced the user experience but also allowed me to experiment with different design styles and techniques.
The learning behind creating these assets was invaluable. It helped me understand the importance of visual consistency, accessibility, and how these small design elements can significantly impact the overall aesthetics and functionality of an app or website. Working on these illustrations and icons taught me the balance between creativity and usability, and I grew more confident in my ability to express ideas visually while maintaining a user-centric approach.
Overall, it was a rewarding experience that strengthened my skills in graphic design and deepened my passion for combining art with technology.
